Introduced for the 2015 model year, the AMG GT was the second vehicle developed entirely in-house by AMG. The Roadster variant followed for 2017, refining the front-mid-engine layout into a more compact and agile package aimed directly at the Porsche 911. Production concluded in 2023. Power is supplied by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 rated at 469 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque in stock form, with output sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed automatic transmission. Estimated output with modifications is approximately 650 horsepower.
